The Cottages at Springfield Town Center are the result of Saussy Burbank and Clear Springs Development Company's reteaming after a fruitful ten years of collaboration in Baxter Village. The 50-unit project will be made up of two-story, 2,000–2,500 square foot single-family cottages. There will be a range of floor layouts available, including master-up and master-down. The rear of homesites may feature an optional alley-fed garage, and they will face many green areas. The Cottages are a part of Springfield Town Center's Phase II, a mixed-use development with Harris Teeter as its anchor. It will provide easy access to dining options, shopping, and trail networks on foot. Additionally advantageous to the locals is the well regarded Fort Mill school system. Situated at the intersection of Highway 460 (Springfield Parkway) and US 21 Bypass, the location offers easy access to Charlotte's uptown area.
